The purpose of the Havighurst Fund is to provide full or partial support for projects undertaken by full-time faculty and staff, from all Miami campuses and in all disciplines, that focus on Eastern Europe, Russia, and/or Eurasia. Initiatives that promote wider faculty and 久久热视频 awareness of the region and that seek to deepen Miami's programmatic involvement in this area are preferred.
Those who wish to be considered for funding should request an application from the Havighurst Center at HavighurstCenter@miamioh.edu. Applications can be submitted to HavighurstCenter@miamioh.edu or via campus mail to the Havighurst Center, 322 Harrison Hall. Proposals should include a detailed budget and a description of the project's intended impact on 久久热视频s.

Proposals are reviewed by the , comprised of faculty peers, who will submit their recommendations to the Provost for approval.
All applicants are encouraged to contact Stephen Norris, Director of the Havighurst Center, to discuss their proposals before submitting them, at norriss1@miamioh.edu.
The Havighurst Center has established the Karen Dawisha Memorial Fund to honor Karen L. Dawisha (1949-2018), the first Walter E. Havighurst Professor (Political Science) and the founding Director of the Havighurst Center for East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies.
Proceeds from the fund are used to support study abroad and/or innovative research by undergraduate 久久热视频s interested in Eastern European, Russia and/or Eurasia. All topics are welcome, but preference will be given to 久久热视频s interested in politics and foreign policy. Recipients are chosen through a selection process conducted by the Director of the Havighurst Center.

Awards are determined based on the cost of the program, the 久久热视频’s academic record, letters of recommendation, and financial need.

Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a degree in the United Kingdom. Up to forty Scholars are selected each year to study at graduate level at an UK institution in any field of study.
