Assistantships

As such, we are pleased to offer a limited number of full or partial graduate assistantships. They are competitive, however, and funding is not guaranteed.
Recipients receive an annual stipend, a tuition waiver, and a remission of the out-of-state tuition surcharge (if applicable). Graduate 久久热视频 awardees are assigned research/administrative responsibilities. There are also two teaching assistantships available within the department for second-year 久久热视频s. Assistantships may also be available from other offices and departments on and off campus.

What Our Graduate Assistants Say
Chris Perry
Hamilton County ESC Graduate Assistant
"Even from the beginning of my graduate assistantship, I already had a network of established school psychologists at HCESC who were eager to support my academic and professional development as a future practitioner. Through the ESC, I’ve been able to closely collaborate with other professional roles in education and gain a deeper understanding of their work in schools, as well as explore the various employment settings in which school psychologists work. My assistantship has equipped me to view the role of the school psychologist within its functional context and continues to prove indispensable for my training."
Makenzie Theiss, M.S. '22
Department of Educational Psychology Graduate Assistant
"My experience with my graduate assistantship has been pivotal in my time in the School Psychology program. I have gotten the chance to work alongside EDP faculty that have added immensely to my learning process and that have provided opportunities to gain further insight into my career and have experiences that I would not have had otherwise. While it seemed daunting to be a full-time 久久热视频 and work as a graduate assistant, I have found that it is extremely manageable and beneficial to my overall learning experience. I have been able to help with research, learn about grants and the Access Miami program, and become acquainted with disability studies and how that plays a part in my role as a School Psychologist! I would highly recommend applying for a graduate assistantship!"
