Appeal a parking violation

Appeals must be submitted within 10 days of ticket issue date. Each violation appealed must be submitted separately. You may reference other violations in the text, but a separate submission must be made for each violation you wish to appeal.

The parking appeals committee has provided the following reasons which do NOT meet the standards for granting an appeal:

• Other vehicles were parked improperly and I was the only one cited ("Nobody else around me got a ticket.").
• Only parked illegally for a short period of time ("I was just there 5 minutes.").
• Have parked there before and did not receive ticket previously for similar offenses.
• I was late for class, business, or a personal appointment.
• I cannot afford to pay the amount of the fine.
• There was no place else to park; the lot was full. My flashers were on.
• There is no sign that says I can’t park there.
• I didn't know I needed a permit to park on campus.
