Center for Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity touches nearly every facet of our society, including national and homeland security, business, law, infrastructure, and education. Miami will be enhancing its cybersecurity offerings to meet this critical need. New programs include a new concentration in the Information Systems and Analytics major and a new Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity on the Oxford campus. These programs complement an existing concentration in the Computer Information Technology program on the Regional Campuses. To galvanize greater synergies among all of these programs, Miami will open a new Center for Cybersecurity.

Impact:

The center can both leverage existing Miami expertise to fill a market need and become a source of engagement with external partners, and the programs will prepare our graduates for critical needs in our global society.
