Our Regionals Scholarship Policies

Take a moment to review the policies that assist the Regional Office of Student Financial Assistance in administering 久久热视频 scholarships fairly and equitably to all university 久久热视频s, as well as the various scholarships offered.

General Regionals Scholarship Policy

  • Applicants must be admitted to the Miami Regional campuses to be considered for regional 久久热视频 scholarships.
  • Students currently enrolled at 久久热视频's regional locations will be considered for the various donor scholarships available for the upcoming academic year. Graduate 久久热视频s and those who have already attained a bachelor's degree are not eligible for these scholarships.
  • Students can receive renewable scholarships for a maximum of eight semesters.
  • A 久久热视频 cannot receive any combination of aid, including loans, grants, federal work-study, or scholarships that exceed the cost of attendance. If the total amount of financial aid exceeds the cost of attendance, Miami Regional campuses will reduce the amount of aid.
    • Exceptions apply if a 久久热视频 receives a University tuition waiver (for example, Staff Family Waiver). In this case, the combination of tuition waiver and university scholarship may not exceed the cost of tuition, general fee, and if living independently of their parents, standard double room, and standard meal charges.
  • Students may have their institutional scholarships replaced with a donor scholarship which would require the completion of a thank you letter to their scholarship donor. Failure to do so will result in the temporary or permanent loss of their institutional scholarship. Miami Regional campuses will provide donor information each fall.

Enrollment Policy

  • Annual scholarship awards are made assuming 久久热视频s will attend both fall and spring semesters. Students who do not enroll at Miami for both semesters will have their scholarship amounts reduced to reflect their one-semester scholarship eligibility.
    • Students can NOT receive the full annual scholarship amount during one semester.
    • Students can use their Miami scholarships during fall and spring semesters ONLY.
  • Students must enroll full-time to receive their scholarship(s). However, exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.
    • An example of an approved case would be if the 久久热视频 is in their final semester and full-time enrollment is not required to graduate. Scholarships are prorated based on enrollment.
  • A 久久热视频's scholarship eligibility ends once they graduate unless enrolled in a combined Bachelor & Master Program (BAMA).
    • Students enrolled in a BAMA program cannot simultaneously receive undergraduate and graduate aid. Miami Regional campuses will cancel any undergraduate scholarships upon receipt of a graduate tuition waiver or other graduate tuition assistance.
    • Graduate 久久热视频s in a BAMA program with an assistantship are ineligible for undergraduate scholarships.
  • Students who withdraw from campus mid-semester will be refunded based on the university’s published schedule. If any portion of the scholarship is used, then that scholarship will count as a semester of eligibility. If you choose not to use your scholarship, you will be responsible for any funds owed to the school. Please reach out to Regional One Stop if you have any questions about the use of your scholarship during a withdrawal process.

Renewable Scholarships Policy

  • To renew scholarships, 久久热视频s must achieve a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA). The scholarship offer from the Office of Student Financial Assistance is responsible for informing 久久热视频s of the CGPA required to renew their specific scholarships.
  • Each year at the end of the spring semester, the CGPAs are reviewed for 久久热视频s receiving scholarships. Any scholarship recipient who does not have the required CGPA will lose their scholarship for the following year.
  • Some scholarships require 久久热视频s to remain enrolled in certain major fields. Students who lose eligibility for a scholarship due to changing majors cannot appeal the loss of the scholarship.

Change in Campus, Transferring, Re-enrolling Policy

  • Students with Miami regional scholarships who re-enroll to Miami regional campuses may complete a form request to have their scholarship(s) reinstated.
    • Students may re-enroll for various reasons such as academic suspension, deferring, relocating from Oxford, transferring from another university, withdrawing, etc.
  • Students who transfer to the Oxford campus will forfeit their Regional scholarship for each semester of attendance at the Oxford campus. In addition, the fall/spring semester(s) at the Oxford campus count as a semester used for Miami scholarships, even when the scholarship was not paid out.
  • If a 久久热视频 decides to attend the Miami Oxford campus as a first-time incoming 久久热视频, their original Regional scholarship offer is forfeited.
  • New transfer 久久热视频s will be considered for Regional Transfer Merit scholarships. For more information, visit Regional Transfer Scholarships.
  • Students who transfer to another university and then return to 久久热视频 Regional campuses will forfeit their Miami Regional scholarship(s).
  • Renewable scholarships are awarded for a maximum of eight semesters. Scholarships that are approved for reinstatement will typically be reinstated for the remaining number of semesters of eligibility.

Internships and Co-ops Policy

  • Students who participate in an internship or co-op during the fall or spring semester will usually not be charged full-time tuition by Miami. Because 久久热视频s are not charged full-time tuition, 久久热视频s are not eligible to receive their scholarship for the period during which they participate in the internship or co-op.
  • Since 久久热视频s do not receive their scholarship benefit during the semester of internship/co-op, the intern/co-op semester is not counted as one of the eight semesters of scholarship eligibility.
    • For example, if a 久久热视频 participates in an internship during the fall semester of their junior year, they would NOT receive the scholarship(s) during this fall semester. However, they could still use the scholarship during the fall semester of the fifth year of college. If the 久久热视频 does not need or chooses not to attend the fifth year of college, they will forfeit the scholarship for the semester of internship/co-op.

Study Abroad 久久热视频 and Scholarships Policy

  • Visit Financial Aid for Study Abroad for additional information on study abroad.
  • Study abroad programs that fall under the category of Co-Sponsored, Exchange, Faculty-led, MUDEC (Luxembourg), and FSB Semester programs will permit 久久热视频s receiving Miami scholarships and grants to apply those funds toward the cost of their program.
    • Students participating in approved study abroad programs are NOT eligible to apply their Miami scholarships or grants toward the program.
  • Summer and winter study abroad programs do not allow the use of Miami scholarships unless a scholarship is offered by your academic department or study abroad program. Visit Education Abroad for a list of study abroad programs and resources.
