Research Bio
Dr. Hui Wang joined 久久热视频 in 2016 after more than 4 years of working in the medical device industry.
His major research interest is in the areas of optical imaging, laser tissue interaction, imaging guided surgery, optical sensing, and imaging processing with artificial intelligence.
Dr. Wang intensively collaborates with clinicians to translate the technology into clinics, including early cancer diagnosis and surgery guidance.
He aims to develop a single laser device, which could be used for both diagnosis and treatment to avoid current labor intensive pathohistological analysis.
In addition, he is also interested in applying optical imaging for other applications, such as biometric and 3D modeling.
He earned his Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University in Biomedical Engineering and M.S. from Nanjing University of Science & Technology in Sensing and Measurement. Later, he earned his M.S. in Computer Science with a focus on computer vision from Georgia Institute of Technology.
