Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner candidates must meet the following requirements for admission:
- B.S.N. from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing school by the start of the M.S.N. program.
- Minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Resident of OH, IL, IN, or KY.
- Prior to starting the program, a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state in which the applicant is practicing.
- Eligibility to obtain an active RN license in any other state required for clinical experiences.
- Résumé or curriculum vitae.
- College transcripts.
- Written response to four experiential questions.
- Two letters of academic or professional references from faculty members, professional colleagues, or work supervisors who can evaluate potential for success in a graduate program. At least one recommender must hold a master's or higher degree.
