Bystander Intervention and Risk Reduction

Bystanders play a critical role in the prevention of sexual and relationship violence. Miami wants to promote a culture of community accountability where bystanders are actively engaged in the prevention of violence without causing further harm.

No-Hate Initiative

Bias-related incidents occur in every community. The strongest way to combat the mean-spiritedness of those few who perpetuate this behavior is to have a community where everyone recognizes the responsibility to denounce hate and counters bias with actions focused on inclusion, not exclusion.

Anti-Hazing

Hazing can be described as any incident or activity that may or may not cause mental or physical harm to a ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵ looking to join an organization and is strictly prohibited by the university.
