College of Creative Arts faculty to develop innovative nonprofit governance program with Miami Online

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵ’s College of Creative Arts is proud to announce that three faculty members from the Arts Management and Arts Entrepreneurship program have been selected to develop an innovative nonprofit governance program through Miami Online Learning. Designed for continuing education, the online Nonprofit Governance program has been developed for career professionals looking to broaden their skill sets in the nonprofit sector. When developing modules for the program, Miami Online Learning drew from the subject matter expertise from three faculty in the Arts Management and Arts Entrepreneurship program.]

Bridging Arts and Nonprofit Management

This initiative underscores the vital connection between nonprofit arts organizations and effective governance in fostering social value and driving positive change. As the nonprofit arts sector continues to thrive, generating an impressive $166.3 Billion in annual revenues in 2023, the need for specialized education in nonprofit management has never been more critical.

Faculty Expertise Driving Innovation

The three faculty members developing modules are:

Youngaah Koh - Leadership and Advocacy for Nonprofits
Erin Hoppe - Program Development and Assessment
Willie Caldwell - Marketing for Nonprofits

Each module is designed to equip ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵs with the essential skills and knowledge required to navigate the complex landscape of nonprofit management.
